Have you ever listened closely to the sound of the wind blowing gently through the trees? Have you ever noticed the rhythm with which your suitcase rolls across the tarmac? Have you ever tried whistling the melody of a bird’s song? Musical sounds surround us constantly. I record them, transcribe them and weave them into my compositions with instrumental music, inspired by this symphony of the world.
"Salvenmoser's work demonstrates a lightness of touch, a deep understanding of orchestrational timbre and an openness to the sudden and the real - this is a composer to listen both to, and with."
